When Black Star&rsquo;s final resurrection attempt failed, it sent a psychic backlash that warped the Shattered into what they are now: beings who survived the event without becoming abominations or psycho beasts, but who did not come through unchanged.</p> <p>The Shattered occupy an uneasy position in the world — marked by an event they did not choose, carrying abilities and afflictions that set them apart from the people they used to be.</p>
